If you are interested in finding out more about the history of Iowa
and the history Dubuque in an unconventional way,
then this is the place for you.
You'll hear original music by Lou Fautsch with a country-folk style, 
while learning some interesting as well as historical facts along the way.

There are nine CDs presently on the site, and every song is available for download purchase.
There are three Our Iowa Home albums available, and two Dubuque Heritage albums.
A third Dubuque album, This Is Dubuque!, is now on the site as well.

An album of personal reflections by Lou Fautsch, titled Images,
and Hammered Dulcimer Tapestries are also available.

FRIENDS FOREVER is a CD of some of Lou's favorites by other
artists which he has enjoyed and performed himself over the years.

Annual Coffeehouse Concert

Holiday Inn Ballroom, Downtown Dubuque, IA

this annual event usually happens the Saturday before Thanksgiving, though the date for this years' concert has not yet been determined . . .we will update when we have that nailed down. The concert runs about 2 and a half hours, with a cash bar and complimentary flavored coffees. Lou is joined by fellow musicians and good friends Chad Sigafus, Bob Dunn and Paul Benner. His daughter, Laura, will also lend her vocals to the evening's entertainment. Tickets are $10 at the door.


Music in the Park

What a great way to spend a summer evening - and the only admission is the $1.00 fee for park entry! Lou and his music buddies from the Unstrung Heroes will entertain with songs from the 60's and 70's along with some original stuff each has written, as well as some traditional tunes. A musical guest is usually included, and is yet to be announced for this summer's event.


Unstrung Heroes Annual Coffeehouse Concert

Holiday Inn Ballroom, Downtown Dubuque

The annual Unstrung Heroes Coffeehouse Concert will again take place at the Holiday Inn Ballroom in Downtown Dubuque, Iowa on Saturday, November 21st. Start time is 7:00 p.m. and will feature the talents of Unstrung Heroes regulars Lou Fautsch, Bob Dunn and Paul Benner, with some great harmonies by Lou's daughter, Laura, who joins the group each year for this special event. Also appearing with The Heroes will be Chad and Terri Sigafus. This talented husband and wife team were with us last year and are back by popular demand to share their musical talents with the audience. Tickets are $10 at the door. Lou's Annual Coffeehouse Concert

This is Lou's annual Coffehouse Concert with the Unstrung Heroes Band. It happens every November and is always the Saturday before Thanksgiving. The band plays a mix of rock and roll favorites, a bit of bluegrass and some of their original music. The concert continues to be a hit with returning audiences and some new faces each year.
